About Ogen

Ogen is a nonprofit financial institution that provides loans, financial recovery tools, and emergency support to individuals and small businesses that the traditional banking system has left behind. Over 35 years, Ogen has served hundreds of thousands of Israelis facing economic vulnerability, operating on the belief that access to credit is a basic right.

Ogen’s fundraising targets English-speaking Jewish communities internationally, primarily in the United States, where the connection to Israel’s wellbeing runs deep. The ask isn’t a donation to charity. Instead, it’s an invitation to invest in a dignified, structural form of support.

We brought them in to run paid media. A few months later they were across everything: content, design, web, the anniversary timeline. That wasn't planned. It was just what happened when the work was good and we knew we had a partner we could trust.

A mission bigger than the infrastructure supporting it

When Inspired Marketing began working with Ogen, the fundraising operation was effective but fragmented. There was no single partner coordinating across content, design, paid media, and technical infrastructure.

  • Tracking gaps meant donations couldn’t be fully attributed.
  • Creative approvals moved slowly.
  • And Ogen’s unique positioning (not charity, but financial dignity) wasn’t being articulated consistently across channels.

This meant the organization’s powerful story was underserved by the marketing systems around it. To address that, Ogen needed a partner who could own the full picture.

Our approach

Inspired Marketing came in as an extension of the Ogen team, taking ownership of the full picture from infrastructure to messaging to campaign execution. Our senior-led team stayed close enough to the work that when circumstances changed, we could move fast.

Building what was missing
Before any campaign could perform, the infrastructure had to be right. We set up attribution systems and donation tracking, standardised creative formats across platforms, and connected the website to donation processing.

Getting the message right
Ogen’s positioning is genuinely distinctive. We worked to ensure every piece of communication reflected that: the dignity of a loan that is repaid and reinvested, the structural nature of what Ogen provides, and the human reality behind each request for support. Emotionally resonant messaging, grounded in truth.

Running campaigns across channels
Once foundations were in place, we managed paid campaigns across multiple platforms simultaneously, adjusting spend allocation based on what was actually converting. We produced ad copy, creative assets, landing pages, video scripts, SEO content, and donor communications, all drawing on the same coordinated messaging.

The 35-year timeline
One of the most significant projects of the engagement was the creation of Ogen’s 35th anniversary experience. This interactive digital timeline brings three and a half decades of impact to life. Inspired Marketing led the strategy, structure, content, UX thinking, and copywriting for the timeline, coordinated design and developer handoff, and managed both Hebrew and English adaptations across desktop and mobile. It was a project that required trust in both directions. We’re proud of what it became.

Wartime. No excuses.
When the Iran conflict escalated in early 2026, the marketing environment shifted overnight. The team pivoted campaign messaging rapidly, moving from planned seasonal content to crisis-led, human storytelling about the impact on Israeli families and businesses. This required fast creative production, new ad copy, revised landing page content, and real-time performance monitoring.

The results

Month-on-month, the trend continued: as campaign infrastructure matured and messaging sharpened, both donation volume and average contribution size grew consistently. Website traffic from new audiences nearly doubled. And across paid channels, Ogen’s campaigns consistently performed at or above industry benchmarks on the metrics that signal genuine audience alignment.
